Instructions: Since the beginning of the year, we have talked about "generation gap", differences and
similarities between generations and we started to discuss the place of music on this subject. Your task now
is to try and answer the following question: Is music a way to connect generations? In a 150/200-word
text in which you give arguments and justify them with examples (that can come from your own
experience), express your opinion on this topic.
A few questions that may help you construct your work:
- Do you think good old music can still appeal to young people after decades?
- Can an artist be liked by all generations? What is necessary for him/her to be liked by everyone?
- Are there songs and/or artists that both you and your parents like? If yes, how do you feel about it?
The criteria I will pay attention to:
- return your work in time (no delay accepted, you will get a 0 if you don't hand it in time)
- respect the instructions (topic, length,...)
- be precise and add details and examples to support your arguments
- be careful with the spelling of words
