Bonjour
J’ai un dm en anglais,
Pouvez-vous me donner des informations sur l’image de
« Lunch atop a Skyscraper » s’il vous plaît ?

Sagot :

Réponse : Hey! En espérant que ça t'ai aidé ;)

Explications :

"Lunch atop a Skyscraper", a photography attributed to Charles Clyde Ebbets, taken in 1932 during the construction of the RCA Building, which is the main building of Rockefeller Center.

The photograph shows eleven workers having lunch, sitting on a beam that hangs 240 metres above the ground, without any security. The image, taken on 20 September and published in the New York Herald Tribune in the Sunday, 2 October supplement, appears to have been arranged for an advertisement for Rockefeller Center.

The identity of the workers remained unknown for a long time. Two workers were identified as Joseph Pocker and Joe Curtis. Some workers, working without papers on the site, and therefore with identities difficult to prove, are however being recognised.
