Bonjour,

Réponse :

Ex.1:

a. He says: "I don't like them".

He says ( that ) he doesn't like them.

b. They tell us: "stay calm".  ( Ils nous disent: "Restez calmes" )

They tell us to stay calm. ( Ils nous disent de rester calmes )

c. She explains: "I couldn't find my keys"

She explains ( that ) she couldn't find her keys.

d. She says: "I don't want to go to the cinema"

She says ( that ) she doesn't want to go to the cinema.

e. She explains: "I have lived here for years"

She explains ( that) she has lived here for years.

f. They claim: "everybody should have the same rights"

They claim that everybody should have the same rights.

Ex. 2

a. He said: "I'm moving to a new house"

Le verbe est au présent Be + V-ing, il faut le mettre au prétérit Be + V-ing au discours indirect

He said that he was moving to a new house.

b. She said: "I found a new job"

She said she had found a new job.

c. She told them "I will make cookies"

Le will + base verbale devient would + base verbale au discours indirect.

She told them she would make cookies.

d. The kids claimed :"We didn't eat all the sweets.

The kids claimed that they hadn't eaten all the sweets.

e. She said: "I don't want to see him anymore"

Le présent devient prétérit au discours indirect

She said she didn't want to see him anymore.

f. She said: " I didn't see him crossing the street."

She said she hadn't seen him crossing the street.

Ex.3

a. He asked me if we had met before.

Le présent perfect devient past perfect

b. They asked me if I would come for dinner the next Saturday.

c. She asked me if I was OK.

d. He asked me how long I had lived in London

e. He asked me if I liked Scotland.

f. We asked them when they were coming over.

g. He asked her where she was from
