When I arrived home, my front door was open, and I knew there must be robbers in the house! I quickly took the torch out of my backpack and put on foot in the house. Normally, my mum, nor my dad wasn't home before me. In the house, it was pitch dark, except a light from the bathroom down the hallway and the light that was entering in the front door. Went I enter my house, I get straight in the living room, so I hid there. I hid behind a couch. I heard water being pumped in the bathroom, then, I was sure someone was in the house. I could hear heavy breathing, and something metal and hard falling to the floor. Then I heard faint whistling. I decided to be brave, so I went to the bathroom, turned of the light and locked the door. Me and the robber were inside the small bathroom with no light on. I said : “You’re caught”. Then the man turned on his light, and I came face to face with dad’s plumber. “Sorry, your parents weren’t home, I decided I would just start working because the door wasn’t looked.”
