What was the last thing you Googled? A quick Twitter chat with a celebrity? The latest episode of your favorite TV show? Do you even remember or does Google know it better than you do? It's true that technology has changed the way we live our lives, but with artificial intelligence (AI) on the rise, it may be changing things faster then ever before. So are we ready for the next revolution?

Developers believe that AI can help us do anything from managing traffic to diagnosing illnesses and seizures. If we're not careful, technology could take control of our lives and we won't be able to tell what's real and what's not. In fact, to some people it may seem that AI is already doing that. We have been programmed to think that everything we see is real and built by man. In reality, many things are just a computer program running on a piece of hardware, but to us it seems so real.

Some speculate that artificial intelligence will be able to mimic human behavior enough to fool us into believing it has its own free will, just like humans. A robot could be programmed with all the stories, but if it doesn't know what good and evil.

However, others believe that AI will never be able to outsmart us because we're made in the image of God and they're just cold hard machines. Still, others say that the very way robots are made should give Christians pause. Although AI will never be able to think like us, it can call upon its own memories and experiences to make decisions.

Christians believe that humans should put their faith in God through Jesus Christ. AI can't do this because it doesn't have a soul or a spirit, so can we really believe it will be able to tell right from wrong the same way that Christians do? The stories of the Bible are just stories to them, whereas they're divine revelation to us—maybe not now but someday.
