Guy Fawkes Night, is the main celebration in the UK each year to commemorate the anniversary of the Powder Conspiracy on 5 November 1605.
The origin of this celebration is that Britain's leading Catholics, along with Guy Fawkes and 11 other associates, attempted to blow up Parliament. The plot failed, and the conspirators were arrested and executed. Bonfire Night, also known as Bonfire Night, also commemorates King James I who escaped the attack.
