Should boys or girls have the right to play any sport they want?

For this question I will use the example of football and ballet.

Since I was a child at school, in the playground, you can see boys playing football but almost never girls or vice versa, that's why we should fight against stereotypes, for example: we often hear this sentence "boys are stronger than girls".
In football, boys and girls teams are always separated, you never see them playing together.

Another example is the motto of France: Liberté, égalité, et Fraternité which reminds us of the word "frère" and excludes girls in a certain way.

I think that each person is free to choose the sport he or she wants to play.
