Explications : Pour former le prétérit, il suffit de rajouter -ed à la base verbale pour les verbes réguliers. Lorsqu'il s'agit d'un verbe irrégulier, il faut regarder la 2ème colonne d'un tableau de verbes irréguliers que l'on peut trouver à la fin de son livre d'anglais ou bien sur internet.
Quand on met l'auxiliaire DO qui devient DID, le verbe reste à l'infinitif.
La négation peut se contracter : I did not --> I didn't
