Bonjour,

PRÉTÉRIT

My uncle wrote a letter yesterday.

I broke my computer last wweek.

We travelled a lot when we were young.

I had a car accident with my husband

My friend kept his book in his locker

You played video games in your bedroom before diner.

My parents were at the restaurant when you phoned.

Mrs Johson went to the post office to send a letter at 10am.

PRÉSENT PERFECT

= HAS / HAVE + PARTICIPE PASSÉ

Participe Passé des verbes réguliers = base verbale + ed

Participe Passé des verbes irréguliers = 3ème colonne verbes irréguliers

My uncle has written a long letter. Look, there are three pages!

I can't find my school work because I have broken my computer.

I'm exhausted because we have travelled a lot.

Call the police please! I have just had a car accident!

My friend has kept his books in his locker so he hasn't got his stuff now!

I'm sure you have played video games too long. Look at your eyes!

My parents have never been to an Indian restaurant.

Sorry Sir, you can't talk to Mrs Johnson. She has gone to the post office.

Bonjour ! ;)

  • Rappel n°1 : le present perfect se forme à l'aide de l'auxiliaire HAVE conjugué au présent simple + du participe passé du verbe.
  • Rappel n°2 : HAVE au présent simple : I have - You have - He/She/It has - We have - You have - They have.
