She went north, to Philadelphia.

She helped around 300 slaves.

-What name was she given ? And why ?

She was given the name of « Moses » because like Moses in the Bible who led the Jews to the promised land, she led the slaves to freedom.

She died on March 12, 1913 in Boston Massachusetts
