Hello everyone and welcome to the Sunday newspaper, today one of our correspondents is in Dunkirk, and has sent us a report of the situation: ‘’ The situation is very bad. the Wehrmacht surrounds Dunkirk. There are a few soldiers who are trying to defend the city from the German attack while waiting for civilian boats to arrive to evacuate groups of soldiers. About 100 littleships have arrived in Dunkirk since May 27. The soldiers who are still there try to survive even if it is very complicated to eat and sleep. There is nothing more to eat, so the soldiers criss-cross the city and infiltrate the houses and recover the little food that remains, but by doing this several soldiers were surprised by the Germans and therefore killed . But there are other soldiers who can no longer bear the bombing of the German army and who commit suicide, throwing themselves at the mother. Some soldiers take advantage of the death of some to take possession of the water they had or even his clothes. However the British and French army try to defend their troops, retaliate with the RAF, the Royal Air Force: the British Spitfires are very effective against the German fighters, the famous Messerschmitt. And the French are trying to defend the city during the evacuation ‘’  

As you may have read, the situation is very complicated , and the death toll must be very high however the UK is defending its troops and trying to save as many people as possible.
