Sagot :
Bonjour,
Voici une petite description que j'avais fait étant en Première.
The Buckingham Palace is known worldwide as the official residence of the royal family in London. Built in 1703 by the Duke of Buckingham, this manor house was transformed into a royal palace only from 1826, at the request of King George IV. This majestic transformation was carried out by the architect John Nash. However, it was not until Victoria's accession to the throne in 1937 that the palace officially became a royal residence.
This immense palace is made up of more than 750 rooms and has more than 500 works of art. When one evokes this palace, one immediately thinks of the gardens, located behind the Buckingham residence. It is the largest private garden in London and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful. If you pass by the Buckingham Palace in the morning, then be sure to admire the changing of the guard on foot, between St James' Palace and Buckingham Palace.
You will be able to admire this every day at 11:30 am, from April to the end of July and every other day from August to March.
The changeover of the guard on horseback is carried out at 11 am from Monday to Friday and at 10 am on Sundays. A show not to be missed, for young and old alike. Also, know that if the flag is not flown at half-mast, then this means that the Queen is present in the enclosure of the palace.
